To develop staff so they can speak openly about situations they need to resolve. A fundamental course: and forms the basis of teamworking, decision making, influencing and negotiation.

Deliver messages assertively and influentially
Deal with, rather then duck, tricky situations
Curb any excessive aggression
Receive feedback (criticism) constructively
Demonstrate a positive attitude to self and others in difficult situations
Decide what they want in a given situation
Say 'no' when appropriate
